Multi-Institutional Faculty Interdisciplinary Research Project (MFIRP)

With an aim to positively and collectively impact society and environment, multi-institute faculty interdisciplinary projects (MFIRP) have been initiated in collaboration with different institutes across India & foreign countries. This initiative is expected to attract strong support from external funding agencies and catalyze cross-research activities between the two Institutions.

On the similar lines on that of FIRP, Multi-Institute faculty Interdisciplinary Projects (MFIRP) have been initiated in collaboration with various institutions across India as well as other countries. A total grant of around Rs. 20 Lakhs per project for two years accounting to Rs. 10 Lakh by IITD (IRD) and the matching contribution from the respective institute were sanctioned.  Based on complementary research & expertize, this initiative is expected to attract strong support from external funding agencies and catalyze cross-research activities between the institutions.
